March 11-15

We will be continuing our chapter book, Bridge to Terabithia, study this week.
We will be studying reference sources for several weeks; using an index is this week.

• Monday, March 11th, read and discuss chapter 4 (second half)
• Tuesday, March 12th, listen to chapter 4 (second half) on audio and quiz on chapter 4 (second half)
• Wednesday, March 13th, read and discuss chapter 5
• Thursday, March 14th, listen to chapter 5 on audio and quiz on chapter 5; quiz on using an index
• Friday, March 15th, Spring Fling

• I will return the grammar quiz on using a dictionary, go over and return quiz 4 (second half) and quiz 5 when the schedule allows some time this week.

There is no homework for bonus points during the book study. Your child will have a study guide filled out for every chapter. Please try to have your child at school as much as possible.

If your child makes a D (60-69) or an F (59 or below) I have stamped the test sign and return. Please do so.

• Please continue to talk with your child about their school work, homework, conduct, notes from the school/teachers, etc.

Coming Up Soon:

• Report Cards go home Monday, March 11th. Please review, sign, and return by Thursday, March 14th.
• There is also a 2nd Semester Conference Form attached to the report card. Please sign and return that also by the 14th.

Remember students are only allowed 10 parent excuses for the WHOLE year. After 10 parent excuses, students will not be allowed to make up ANY missed work or tests.
