November 27-December 1

Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving break. We all have SO much to be thankful for!

This week is review week. We will be reviewing the reading standard of main idea and details and the grammar standard of punctuating titles of works correctly.
  • Homework goes home on Monday, November 27th and is due on Friday, December 1st. I will be grading ALL of the homework this week, so please make sure it is correct.
  • There will be a reading test on Friday, December 1st. It will consist of a cold read passage and question set. There will also be a grammar test on Friday.
  • Last week's tests go home on Tuesday, November 28th.
  • If your child makes a D (60-69) or an F (59 and below), please sign the test and return it by Friday the 1st.
  • Please continue to talk with your child about their school work, homework, conduct, notes from the school/teachers, etc. I will continue to sign conduct folders for failure to bring materials to class, failure to return signed papers, leaving belongings in my class, behavior, etc!
  • Not signing D/F test papers (violation 1.13) is getting the students in the most trouble. Please ask your student daily if they need anything signed.
  • Let me know if you need me in any way!

Coming Up Soon:

  • Field Trip is Wednesday, November 29th. Please be to school on time and bring a sack lunch and drink.
