Hope everyone enjoyed their Spring Break!

We will be continuing our chapter book, Bridge to Terabithia, study this week.
We will be studying prepositions, object of the preposition, and prepositional phrases for the next 2 weeks.

• Monday, April 1st, read and discuss chapter 8
• Tuesday, April 2nd, listen to chapter 8 on audio and quiz on chapter 8
• Wednesday, April 3rd, read and discuss chapter 9
• Thursday, April 4th, listen to chapter 9 on audio and quiz on chapter 9
• Friday, April 5th, I will return the grammar quiz on using a thesaurus, go over and return quiz 6 and quiz 7.

There is no homework for bonus points during the book study. Your child will have a study guide filled out for every chapter. Please try to have your child at school as much as possible.

If your child makes a D (60-69) or an F (59 or below) I have stamped the test sign and return. Please do so.

• Please continue to talk with your child about their school work, homework, conduct, notes from the school/teachers, etc.

March 18-22

• Monday, March 18th, read and discuss chapter 6
• Tuesday, March 19th, I will be out this day.
• Wednesday, March 20th, listen to chapter 6 on audio and quiz on chapter 6
• Thursday, March 21st, read and discuss chapter 7
• Friday, March 22nd, listen to chapter 7 on audio and quiz on chapter 7; quiz on using a thesaurus
• I will return the grammar quiz on using a thesaurus, go over and return quiz 6 and quiz 7 on Friday, April 5th.

• Tuesday, March 12th, listen to chapter 4 (second half) on audio and quiz on chapter 4 (second half)
• Wednesday, March 13th, read and discuss chapter 5
• Thursday, March 14th, listen to chapter 5 on audio and quiz on chapter 5; quiz on using an index
• Friday, March 15th, Spring Fling

• I will return the grammar quiz on using a dictionary, go over and return quiz 4 (second half) and quiz 5 when the schedule allows some time this week.

• Monday, March 4th, read and discuss chapter 3
• Tuesday, March 5th, listen to chapter 3 on audio and quiz on chapter 3
• Wednesday, March 6th, read and discuss chapter 4 (first half)
• Thursday, March 7th, listen to chapter 4 on audio and quiz on chapter 4 (first half)
• Friday, March 8th, quiz on using a dictionary, go over and return quiz 2 and 3 and grammar test on proverbs and adages
