March 4-8

We will be continuing our chapter book, Bridge to Terabithia, study this week.
We will be studying reference sources for several weeks starting with using a dictionary this week.

• Monday, March 4th, read and discuss chapter 3
• Tuesday, March 5th, listen to chapter 3 on audio and quiz on chapter 3
• Wednesday, March 6th, read and discuss chapter 4 (first half)
• Thursday, March 7th, listen to chapter 4 on audio and quiz on chapter 4 (first half)
• Friday, March 8th, quiz on using a dictionary, go over and return quiz 2 and 3 and grammar test on proverbs and adages

There is no homework for bonus points during the book study. Your child will have a study guide filled out for every chapter. Please try to have your child at school as much as possible.

If your child makes a D (60-69) or an F (59 or below) I have stamped the test sign and return. Please do so by Friday, March 15th.

• Please continue to talk with your child about their school work, homework, conduct, notes from the school/teachers, etc.

Special Snack this Wednesday the 6th.

Remember students are only allowed 10 parent excuses for the WHOLE year. After 10 parent excuses, students will not be allowed to make up ANY missed work or tests.
