February 10-14

This week's reading standard of identifying theme and the grammar standard of prepositions is REVIEW.

 

• Homework goes home on Monday, February 10th and is due on Friday, February 14th. Remember homework is optional, but if correct, bonus points will be rewarded.

• Last Friday's reading test is rescheduled for Monday, February 10th because of the school closing last Thursday.
• There will be a reading test on Friday, February 14th. It will consist of a cold read passage and question set.
• There will be a grammar test on prepositional phrases on Friday, February 14th.
• Last week's tests go home on Wednesday, February 12th.
• If your child makes a D (60-69) or an F (59 and below), please sign the test and return it by Friday the 14th. 
• Talk with your child about their library book and their Dear Mrs. Williams' notebook.
• Please continue to talk with your child about their school work, homework, conduct, notes from the school/teachers, etc.

Remember if your child is absent, I need a parent's or doctor's excuse within 3 days of them returning. Each student is only allowed 10 parent excuses for the WHOLE school year. After that they will need a doctor's excuse for their absences.
