Reading homework goes home on Monday. It is not required but I grade a portion of this homework for bonus points; so please make sure it is answered correctly and your child uses their reading story to find those answers.
There will be a reading test on Friday. It will consist of a cold read passage and question set including author's purpose and perspective and comprehension questions about this week's story, and vocabulary sentences.
There will be a grammar test on Greek and Latin word parts also on Friday. They will get to use the chart just like the bellringer assignment.
Last week's tests go home on Tuesday.
If your child makes a D (60-69) or an F (59 and below), please sign the test and return it by Friday.
Please continue to talk with your child about their school work, homework, conduct, notes from the school/teachers, etc.
Let me know if you need me in any way!
Remember if your child is absent, I need a parent's or doctor's excuse within 3 days of them returning. Each student is only allowed 10 parent excuses for the WHOLE school year.
