This week  we will begin Theme 2 Common Goals in reading.

This week's story is The Night of San Juan.

This week's vocabulary words are wistful, grateful, irresistible, revelers, grim, raspy, and swarmed.

This week's focus skills is Theme.

This week's spelling words are drizzle, gobble, meddle, shuffle, bundle, pickle, hobble, topple, hurtle,  vehicle, struggle, wiggle, spindle, speckle, griddle, ripple, article, triple, jingle, and bugle.

The grammar skill is compound subjects and predicates.

There will be a reading, spelling, and grammar test on Friday.

There is homework listed in the agenda book for Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday nights.

We will begin lesson 7 in social studies this week.

Please look over your child's agenda book and discipline folder every night. Encourage your child to always do their BEST at school!

Have your child read all the spare time they can! Practice makes perfect!
