November 11-15

Hope everyone enjoyed their long weekend! Hopefully you took a moment and gave thanks for the thousands of men and women who have served our country and are serving our country. We would not be free without them!!

D.A.R.E. graduation is Thursday, December 12th at 8:30. We will begin writing our essays this week!

This week's story is Sailing Home: A Story of a Childhood at Sea.

This week's genre is historical fiction.

This week's focus skill is Compare and Contrast. 

This week's grammar skill is common and proper nouns.

We will be working on Chapter 5 in Social Studies this week.

There will be a reading and grammar test on Friday.

Saints for Christ is in the library for students to attend every Wednesday morning at 7:15!

Please continue to talk with your child about their school work, homework, conduct, notes from the school/teachers, etc. I will continue to sign conduct folders for NO homework, failure to return signed papers, etc!
