EVERYBODY that was dressed up last week for homecoming looked SUPER DUPER! Thanks for showing school spirit!

Open House is this Monday, October 7th from 5:30-7:00!

This week's story is When the Circus Came to Town.

This week's genre is historical fiction.

This week's focus skill is theme.

This week's grammar skill is simple and compound sentences.

We are working on chapter 3 in social studies this week.

There will be a reading and grammar test on Friday.

Last week's tests come home on Tuesday.

If your child makes a D (60-69) or an F (59 and below), please sign the test and return it the next day. 

Please check agenda books daily!

Your child has reading homework that is due on Friday!

School pictures are in. I will send them home as soon as I get them. Check the date on the proof for when the money is due. 

OIS is having the 3rd Annual Candy Crash on Tuesday, October 29th. PLEASE send in a bag of candy as soon as possible!

Please continue to talk with your child about their school work, homework, conduct, notes from the school/teachers, etc. Some of the students are still getting organized!
