December 11-15

This week is review week. We will be reviewing the reading standard of text structure and the grammar standard of identifying prepositions, prepositional phrases, and the object of the preposition.
  • There will be NO HOMEWORK this week. Merry Christmas!
  • We will be making up last Friday's reading test on Monday, December 11th. It will consist of 10 short passages and the student will identify the correct text structure. There will also be another reading quiz on Thursday identifying text structure and a grammar test.
  • Last week's tests will still go home on Tuesday, December 12.
  • If your child makes a D (60-69) or an F (59 and below), please sign the test and return it by Friday the 15th.
  • Please continue to talk with your child about their school work, homework, conduct, notes from the school/teachers, etc. I will continue to sign conduct folders for failure to bring materials to class, failure to return signed papers, leaving belongings in my class, behavior, etc!
  • Not signing D/F test papers (violation 1.13) is getting the students in the most trouble. Please ask your student daily if they need anything signed.
  • Let me know if you need me in any way!
