    • So proud of all of the students who earned awards last Friday at the 1st semester award's day.
    • Our 5th grade program is this Thursday, January 28th at 6:00. Please have your child there by 5:45. My homeroom is to dress in 50s style clothes. Unless they are a Backstreet Boy or a Spice Girl. Those students know who they are.
    • Lesson 17 tests will be this Monday, January 25. There will be a reading and a spelling test.

    • Reading homework questions are due on Monday also.
    • Mrs. Tillman's homeroom will be turning in last Thursday night's spelling homework that I never got a chance to take up last Friday.
    • There will be a grammar test on correlative conjunctions on Wednesday for both classes.

  • Huge thanks to all of the parents and family that came out last Thursday for our DARE graduation. Congrats to the 12 class winners and the overall essay winner. So proud of ALL of the students.
  • Report cards go home this Thursday, January 21st. Please review, sign, and return as soon as possible.
  • Award's Day for the 1st semester is this Friday, January 22nd at 10:15.
  •  We are having a Winter Dance on Friday, January 22nd during the school day for any students who have enough HALO tickets to attend.

  • This week's focus skill is making inferences.

  • We will be working on Week 17 in social studies this week. Test will be on Friday.
  • There will be spelling homework on Tuesday and Thursday nights this week.
  • Vocabulary words homework is Tuesday night and reading questions are not due until Monday.
  • There will be a reading, spelling, and grammar test next Monday, January 25th.
  • Lesson 16 tests will go home this Wednesday. If your child makes a 69 or below on any test, please sign and return that test by Friday. Conduct marks will be given for any unreturned tests.
  • Don't forget the 5th grade program is next Thursday, January 28th at 6:00.
