December 4-8

• This week's reading standard is Text Structure. This week's grammar standard is Prepositions.
• Homework goes home on Monday, December 4th and is due on Friday, December 8th. I will be grading ALL of the homework this week, so please make sure it is correct.
• There will be a reading test on Friday, December 8th. It will consist of identifying the correct text structure.
• Last week's tests go home on Tuesday, December 5th.
• If your child makes a D (60-69) or an F (59 and below), please sign the test and return it by Friday the 8th. 
• Please continue to talk with your child about their school work, homework, conduct, notes from the school/teachers, etc. I will continue to sign conduct folders for failure to bring materials to class, failure to return signed papers, leaving belongings in my class, behavior, etc!
• Not signing D/F test papers (violation 1.13) is getting the students in the most trouble. Please ask your student daily if they need anything signed.

• Santa Shop is this week. Monday-Friday, December 4-8. Everything is $2.
• Tuesday, December 5th Odenville Christmas Parade @ 7 p.m.
• Friday, December 8th Santa Pictures.
• Friday, December 15th Christmas Party.
• Monday, December 18th Polar Express Day (pajama day)
• Tuesday, December 19th Last Day for students (half day)
• School resumes on Thursday, January 4th.

Please send to school with your child an inexpensive pair of head phones or ear buds for computer lab. Thanks to everyone who has already sent them in.

Remember if your child is absent, I need a parent's or doctor's excuse when they return.
