October 29-November 2

This week's reading standard is Text Structure. This week's grammar standard is Commas.

Homework goes home on Monday, October 29th and is due on Friday, November 2nd. Homework is optional, but if correct will be bonus points added to the reading test grade.

There will be a reading test on Friday, November 2nd. It will consist of identifying the correct text structure.

Last week's tests go home on Tuesday, October 30th.

If your child makes a D (60-69) or an F (59 and below), please sign the test and return it by Friday the 2nd. 

Please continue to talk with your child about their school work, quizzes/tests, homework, conduct, notes from the school/teachers, etc.

Coming Up Soon:

• Candy Crash is Tuesday, October 30th from 6:00-7:00. Students can wear their Halloween costumes to school on Tuesday also.
• Field trip information went home on Monday, October 15th. Our field trip to the movies is Friday, December 14th. Money and permission slip are due by Wednesday, November 28th.

Please send to school with your child an inexpensive pair of head phones or ear buds for computer lab. Thanks to everyone who has already sent them in.

Remember if your child is absent, I need a parent's or doctor's excuse when they return.
