This week is review week. We will be reviewing the reading standard of theme and the grammar standard of using commas correctly.
- Homework goes home on Monday, November 6th and is due on Thursday, November 9th. I will be grading ALL of the homework this week, so please make sure it is correct.
- There will be a reading test on Thursday, November 9th this week because of NO SCHOOL on Friday. It will consist of a cold read passage and question set.
- Last week's tests go home on Tuesday, November 7th.
- If your child makes a D (60-69) or an F (59 and below), please sign the test and return it by Thursday the 9th.
- Please continue to talk with your child about their school work, homework, conduct, notes from the school/teachers, etc. I will continue to sign conduct folders for failure to bring materials to class, failure to return signed papers, leaving belongings in my class, behavior, etc!
- Not signing D/F test papers (violation 1.13) is getting the students in the most trouble. Please ask your student daily if they need anything signed.

Coming Up Soon:
Field trip information went home on Monday, October 16th. Our field trip to American Village is Wednesday, November 29th. Money and permissions slip are due by Wednesday, November 8th.
- No School on Friday, November 10th in observance of Veteran's Day.
- Progress reports go home on Monday, November 13th. Please review, sign, and return those progress reports by Wednesday, November 15th. Let me know which teacher, if any, you would like to conference with.
Please send to school with your child an inexpensive pair of head phones or ear buds for computer lab. Thanks to everyone who has already sent them in.
