- Please have your child wear red, white, and/or blue on Tuesday, September 17th for Constitution/Citizenship Day!
- 5th Grade will be celebrating Grandparent's Day on Thursday, September 19th in the lunchroom at 11:30. Grandparents can meet us at the lunchroom, since we have such a long walk.
- We are still working in chapter 2 in social studies this week. Test will probably be some time next week. Remember all social studies tests are OPEN book and page numbers given!
- There will be a reading and grammar test on Friday.
- Last week's tests come home on Tuesday, including chapter 1 social studies tests.
- If your child makes a D (60-69) or an F (59 and below), please sign the test and return it the next day.
- Please check agenda books daily!
- Please make sure that your child rereads the weekly story nightly and works on the homework questions. They are due on Friday.
- Ident-a-kid is Thursday, September 19th! Info came home on Monday!
- Your child can still join OIS Choir throughout the month of September for $10! The practices are Thursday afternoon until 4:00.
- Please continue to talk with your child about their school work, homework, conduct, notes from the school/teachers, etc. Some of the students are still adjusting to a new school year and getting organized!
